Universal Studios Hollywood is a beloved theme park by many locals and it’s also world renowned for being a fully functional movie and television studio in addition to being an amusement park. With so much to do and see, your day will definitely be packed with activities. Don’t worry though, here are some tips to make sure you save time and make the most out of your day at Universal Studios Hollywood.

 

  1. First things first, buy your tickets online. When you buy your tickets online, you can completely avoid the line to buy tickets at the studio and you can simply head to the gate and immediately begin your times in the park! As an added bonus, when you buy your tickets online, you can receive a discount as well.
  2. Plan your day around the shows you want to see. Since the shows only run a few times a day, you’ll want to make sure you can attend all the shows you want. Why wait in line during peak hours when you can be sitting down for an exciting show?
  3. Speaking of sitting down, consider going on the world famous Studio Tour during lunch time. At around midday, you might be starting to get hungry and tired. Fix both problems at once by resting your feet on the Studio Tour. You can bring food and drinks onto the studio tour so not only can you be entertained, you can rest and eat all at the same time!
  4. Take advantage of the Single Riders Line. Sure, it might be fun to sit next to your friend on a ride, but if you can cut your wait time in half, it might be worth it. The Single Rider Line allows you get right to the action by cutting a vast majority of the regular line. Attractions that offer Single Rider Lines include Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Revenge of the Mummy – The Ride, Jurassic Park – The Ride, and Transformers: The Ride 3D.
  5. Download the app. The Official Universal Studios Hollywood App is packed with tons of important information including the most up to date wait times for all the attractions. It easily allows you to figure out which ride you should head ot next. It can also notify when wait times are low, lets you know when character appearances are, and more!
