If you love the performing arts, consider stopping by the Falcon Theatre, which recently changed its name to the Garry Marshall Theatre. The theatre is an intimate theatre in Burbank that offers plays and performances throughout the year. Whether you are simply looking to enjoy what the city has to offer or you to watch live theatre, a night at the Falcon Theatre is a great option.

The next performance that is scheduled to be performed at the theatre is entitled, Laughter on the 23rd Floor. The show is actually written by Neil Simon, and the show is his “love letter” to his early career as a writer for television alongside comedian legends such as Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner. The show follows the rollercoaster antics of comedian writers in the 1950s as they scramble to try and please their larger than life boss for a weekly comedy variety show. Meanwhile the writers are in a battle with NBC who think their jokes might be too sophisticated for middle America. Laughter on the 23rd Floor will be performed on March 23rd through April 22nd. In addition to plays, the theatre also hosts a number of events throughout the year. For example, one upcoming musical performance event is ANAM Irish Arts Evening of Music. The show will be on Sunday, March 25th at 7pm and tickets start at just $35. One of the great things about the theatre is that since it is an intimate space, every seat in the house will give you top notch views of all the action on stage! The space has other events such as Movies at the Marshall where at every screening, there is also a guest speaker who will answer questions about the film’s production while also sharing personal stories.
