Shopping in Glendale

information on the Glendale Galleria & The Americana

One of the great things about Burbank is that it is close to nearby cities, so there is always something to explore, such as the Montrose art festival. Also close to Burbank is Glendale, home to the Glendale Galleria and The Americana, popular shopping destinations in L.A. that also offer plenty of dining options. These shopping centers are located right next to each other, and you can park in either lot if you plan on visiting both of these centers. Read on for more information on the Glendale Galleria & The Americana.

Glendale Galleria

One of the great things about Glendale Galleria is that there is FREE parking! Not too many places in L.A. offer that. There are also lots of popular stores such as Aldo, The Children’s Place, and Loft. The Galleria is also the location of the first Disney Store, which opened in 1987. Popular restaurants include Genghis Khan and L.A. Italian Kitchen.

The Americana is an outdoor shopping, dining, entertainment, and residential complex in Glendale that was built in 2006. The location offers paid parking and popular stores such as Nordstrom, Barneys New York, J. Crew, and Barnes & Noble. In all, there are 82 stores so you’ll be sure to find something that you like. After you’re done shopping, head over to one of the many sit down restaurants such as The Cheesecake Factory, Katsuya, and Trattoria Amici.
