Minions, Fast & Furious, and Harry Potter Have Arrived at Universal Studios Hollywood!

Los Angeles is known for its great weather year-round. But now that summer is fast approaching, what better way to get out and enjoy the sun with a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood! Right now, Universal Studios is celebrating its 50th anniversary with their grand opening of the new attraction: Despicable Me Minion Mayhem. Individuals of all ages staying in hotels close to Universal Studios Hollywood must be sure to experience all of the new and fun attractions offered by the theme park!

In Universal’s latest creation, join Gru, his daughters, and the mischievous Minions in this hilarious and family friendly 3-D ride! The adventure begins in Gru’s house where he is trying to recruit you in his latest scheme – one where you become an actual Minion. After you complete Minion training, things don’t go according to plan for Gru and soon you’ll find yourself on a fun and unforgettable trip through his super-villain laboratory. After you survive the laboratory adventure, the fun continues with a Minion dance party!

The fun doesn’t stop there though. After the ride, don’t forget to visit the new Super Silly Fun Land, a creative and colorful outdoor family play zone that is a replica of the first films memorable seaside carnival! The Super Silly Fun Land is for guests of all ages and has more than 80 different water game features to keep you cool on those hot summer days. There is even the arcade game “Super Silly Space Killer” where Agnes won her stuffed unicorn that was so fluffy! Don’t forget to try your luck and win your own fluffy stuffed unicorn.

While you’re there, you might notice construction on new adventures that Universal is planning for its guests, most notably, “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”, which is scheduled to be completed in 2016. They also recently announced the addition of a new “Fast and Furious” themed attraction opening the summer of 2015 that will conclude the famous Studio Tour. In spring 2015, they will also open “Springfield” around the already existing Simpson’s Ride. The model city will include food and drink establishments like Krusty Burgers and Mo’s Tavern.
