If you come in the evening, you’ll be greeted by a picture perfect sunset. You’ll find the lake located at 6300 Balboa Blvd.

The Hollywood Reservoir is a hidden gem amidst the busy city. In fact, it’s close to Hollywood & Highland though you’ll probably never guess when you see how green and natural the area is. The path along the reservoir is also great for a walk or a jog. As you walk, you’ll also get a beautiful view of the Hollywood Sign as well. Soak in the wildlife and natural views at this family friendly destination. You’ll find Lake Hollywood Reservoir at 2600 Lake Hollywood Drive.

Echo Park Lake is another nice getaway from the city. It’s nice way to enjoy some green space and water so close to the city. Here, as you walk around, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the Downtown Los Angeles skyline, which make for great photo opportunities. You can also rent a pedal boat here if you’d like some time on the lake or simply stroll around the path that lines the edges of the lake. Don’t forget to stop at a local favorite breakfast stop, Beacon, that is located at the boathouse. You’ll find the lake located at 751 Echo Park Ave.
