July Concerts At The Hollywood Bowl

When staying in Burbank this summer season, the Hollywood Bowl has a series of fantastic events planned for locals and visitors alike. The Hollywood Bowl is the premier outdoor venue in all of Los Angeles and a show here is not to be missed. While this venue usually hosts concerts, over the summer, there are special events where movies are screened while being accompanied by a live orchestra! Here are some upcoming Hollywood Bowl Live in Concert Specials taking place this July.

On Wednesday, July 6th come to the Hollywood Bowl for a screening of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Come and see the movie that started it all and immerse yourself in the beloved world of Harry Potter. Relive all the magic on a high definition giant screen as the Los Angeles Philharmonic plays the soundtrack live. The movie will begin at 8pm with tickets starting at only $14!

There will be two performances of Star Trek in concert. These will be on Friday, July 8th and on Saturday, July 9th. Both of these performances will begin at 8pm. Come and see J.J. Abrams’ 2009 adaption of the Star Trek franchise. The movie stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Eric Bana, Zoe Saldana and Simon Pegg. Tickets for this event start at $14.

The classic musical, West Side Story will be performed on Thursday, July 14th and on Tuesday, July 19th. Both of these performances will begin at 8pm. Come and see the beloved musical as numbers such as “America”, “Maria”, “Tonight” and “Somewhere”, are performed live! Tickets for this event start at only $5. All tickets for performances that will be held at the Hollywood Bowl can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
