Lights, Camera, Action! Make way for the the 2013 Burbank International Film Festival! The 4th film festival’s goal is to support independent filmmakers’ talent by showcasing their work and a way to break through into the entertainment industry. If you will be staying in Burbank CA this September, see what the Burbank International Film Festival has to offer!

 

The festival starts off this year on Wednesday, September 4th with an Opening Night Screening & Gala Reception at Warner Brothers & Gordon Biersch Brewery on San Fernando Boulevard in Burbank. The documentary film “The Brothers Warner” at Warner Brothers includes Media Red Carpet and Gala Reception at Gordan Biersch. Only 100 tickets will be sold for opening night, so buy your tickets for this event now! Tickets range from $30 t0

On Thursday, September 5th, there will be three programs of screenings from 8pm to 10pm at Universal Studios Screening Room #3. The first program will include comedy shorts followed by drama and new media and finally comedy/drama. fellow filmmakers! Tickets to each program are $15 each. On Friday, you can purchase single tickets for one of four programs or a ticket that includes the after party. The festival starts at 7pm at AMC Town Center 6 with drama shorts, followed by the Thriller feature film called “Chink” at 8pm. Chink stars Kenzie Dalton (New Girl), and Tzi Ma (Rush Hour, 24), among others. More

drama shorts will follow the film, along with an after party at IATSE Sound Stage with an open bar. Tickets are $10 to $20 for each program, along with $10 for the after party.

 

Saturday and Sunday feature films, documentaries, student work, shorts and more all day. You can buy tickets for each program for $10. Another after party will be held on Saturday. On Sunday, the festival will close with a gala honoring award-winning filmmakers, industry icons and professionals at 5:30pm. This year’s honorees include Honorees include Iron Man 3 Writer/Director Shane Black (Lethal Weapon), Academy award-winning Animation Director Brenda Chapman (Brave), award-winning Composer

Marco Beltrami (World War Z, The Wolverine), Conceptual Artist, Neville Page (Oblivion, Prometheus,) Veteran Actor John Savage(Deerhunter, Hair,) and a special Diversity Award to the SAG-AFTRA EEO & Diversity Department. Come to walk the Red Carpet, drink cocktails at the reception, eat at the banquet and watch the awards show. This year’s gala will be held at Castaway Restaurant in Burbank. Tickets are $100.
