Don’t miss the YMCA Turkey Trot Marathon in Burbank this Thanksgiving


Have you considered what you will be doing on the morning of Thanksgiving this year? Thanksgiving is a great opportunity to gather with loved ones and have fun with the whole family. One such way to engage in fun activities is to participate in the YMCA Turkey Trot in Burbank. The Turkey Trot will take place in the city of Burbank on the morning of November 26th. Register for this family-friendly event today if you’re looking for things to do for Thanksgiving in Burbank!

At the Turkey Trot, you can choose to run a 5k course or a 10k course. This family-friendly event is great for everyone so whether you are an elite athlete, a casual jogger, or a family with little kids, this is an event for you! In fact, babies are welcome and baby strollers are allowed on the course. The course will take you through the beautiful streets of downtown Burbank. You can also feel free to dress up during this fun event. When you register you will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher medal. In addition, there will also be a free finish line photo!

The race will begin at the Burbank Community YMCA at 321 E. Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91502. Every year, an average of 2,500 people attend this fun race. Participants include YMCA members and members of the Burbank community as well as the LA community. When you register on the day of the race, it will be $45 and to register your children for the Kiddie Run, it will be $20. Participants 9 and younger can register for the Kiddie Run. The 10k and the 5k will begin at 7:30am if you plan on competitively running the course. If you are engaged in the fun run or the walk of the race, it will begin at 7:40am. The Kiddie Run for those 9 and younger will begin at 8:30am.
